Our Story
From Study Abroad to Forever

First We Meet
March 22, 2018We both attended the University of Georgia, but our paths first crossed far from Athens. During junior year, we joined a study abroad program at Oxford in the United Kingdom. Between classes, late-night study sessions, and exploring a new city, we found ourselves spending more and more time together.

First Date
April 29, 2018Our first official date was at a small café in Oxford called The Rose. Over scones and tea, we quickly realized that what started as friendship had the potential to be something much more. That afternoon became one of our favorite memories — simple, genuine, and the beginning of us.

In A Relationship
June 11, 2018When we returned home from Oxford, Camden had a plan: he was going to ask Grace to be his girlfriend at a Braves game in July. Grace, however, had other ideas. On their very last night in Oxford, she pressed for an answer, wanting to know if they were going to be together. That conversation made it official — their relationship began that night, spoiling Camden's long-planned gesture.

Today
2018 - 2026After returning home, we spent a few years in Atlanta starting our careers and building a life together. In 2023, we moved back to Athens for Grace to attend law school, bringing us closer to where our story began. A year later, our family grew with Birdie, a spirited English Cocker Spaniel who’s been both sidekick and troublemaker ever since.
